Xina AI, a startup specialized in artificial intelligence technologies, is among 16 Jordanian tech companies participating in JOITED Expo in Dubai’s Expo 2020. The company will be showcasing its innovative enterprise solutions throughout the five-day event this week.
The JOITED Expo is organized by The ICT Association of Jordan, Int@j, and StartupsJo Council, in partnership with the Jordanian Ministries of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship and Investment, and Jordan Business Council in Dubai. Dedicated to showcasing the capabilities of the ICT and entrepreneurship sector of Jordan, the expo aims to promote Jordan as a key player in technology innovation in the region.
The significance of this event being held in Dubai is not to be missed. Dubai’s position as a business hub in the region provides the perfect backdrop for this event, as it is home to many of the region’s most successful tech startups. The UAE alone represented 56% of all startup capital invested in MENA at $577 million in 2020. With many of the global tech giants such as Cisco, Facebook, Amazon, and Google have established their regional presence out of Dubai, the UAE is likened to being the Silicon Valley of MENA.
